Hello and welcome back to our second week on Pootler’s Design Team with Bella and Friends. Today I have a lovely gift bag for you. It’s quite a big bag made of an entire sheet of A4 cardstock.

Bella and Friends Tüte

Let’s  first make the decorative tag. After stamping that cute little doggie I used the blender pens to colour it befor cutting him out. The balloon was stamped and cut out from a scrap piece of watermelon wonder and the cake is made of two squares, which I cut out with the Layering Frames Framelits, cutting them in half more or less and taping them together with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Bella and Friends Week 2

Now on to the bag. First I took a sheet of cardstock and measured how big of a bag I could make with the whole sheet. This is what I came up with. 10 x 3,9 x 17 cm (4″ x 1,5″ x 6,75″)
To begin with I stamped some of the smaller images (parrot, cupcake and balloon) with Versa Mark.  After that I scored and folded the paper.

score on the long side at:
10 – 14 -24 -28 cm (4″ – 5,5″ – 9,5″ – 11″)

score on the short side at:
4 cm (bottom of bag) (1,5″)

If your paper has a direction, make sure you score on the right end. Otherwise your bag will be upside down. Put glue (Fast Fuse or Tombow liquid glue) on the small flap (see picture) and close the bag. Now would be a good time to decide, how to close the bag. I went for a ribbon closure. After some searching I found a small bone die within the Home Sweet Home framelits set. Perfect size for the ribbon I used. It also fits the theme wonderfully.

After sending the bag through the Big Shot, I closed the bottom of the bag and finished of with the ribbon and tag. Voilà!
See you next week.

Liebe Grüße

Anna
