Hello and welcome to a new Pootlers Blog Hop. This one is to showcase lots of the new fab goodies from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue. Back in August when I received my copy of the catalogue, it was still too hot and sunny to think about Christmas and Winter and frankly I didn’t want to. So I just skipped that part over and went straight to the autumn stuff and I promptly found my WOW! set there. Funny thing is, it’s called First Frost which is part of the Frosted Floral Suit. Seems like there’s no escaping the winter theme there.

Using the Frosted Floral DSP from this suite I managed to make a more late summery card though. -These are also the cards, I made for my swap group for our Pootlers New Catalogue Swap.- This paper is a Specialty DSP as it is printed on shimmery white paper, which gives it a beautiful and soft shimmer. You can see some of that shimmer in the pic above at the lower edge.

The stamp set has matching framelits and there are two labels. They are the same in form but different in sizes. The special thing is, that the smaller one is so thin that you can put it inside the bigger one and cut out a thin slightly curved frame. Love it. To glue it on I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen. It’s best for gluing on such delicate pieces and it dries really fast. Due to the stacking of the flowers and leafs, I didn’t need many Dimensionals for the raised and layered effect. I just used them on the tag and the yellow flower.
