Inspire.Create.Challenge #042 – Baby's first Steps

Hello and welcome to a new Inspire.Create. Challenge. It’s all about the little ones this time. Lot’s of sweet projects for babies.

Ein wunderschönes Stempelset für Babykarten ist First Steps aus dem Frühjahr-/Sommerkatalog. Niedliche Hand- und Fußabdrücke, ein Fläschchen und passende Sprüche und Grüße…

A beautiful stamp set for baby cards is the First Steps stamp set from the spring / summer catalogue. Cute little hand and feet prints, a baby bottle, stars and matching sayings and greetings …

Ich habe mal ganz traditionell Babyblau und Puderrosa genommen. Wer es lieber neutraler mag könnte auch Lindgrün oder Safrangelb nehmen. Auch ganz tolle zarte Farben. Die Grundkarte habe ich am Rand mit den Punkten aus dem Set bestempelt. Darauf dann eine Mattung in Babyblau und darauf schließlich die gestempelte Karte. Die Herzchen habe ich einmal in Blutorange und einmal in Granit gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und mit einem Dimensional auf die Karte geklebt. Noch ein paar Pailletten aus dem Sortiment Bunter Schimmer und fertig ist die Karte.

I used traditional boy and girl colours. Balmy Blue and Powder Pink. If you prefer more neutral colours, Soft Sea Foam or So Saffron could be nice choices. The base card was stamped around the edges with the dots from the set. Then a mat in Balmy Blue and the final layer is the stamped card. The hearts are stamped in Poppy Parade and Gray Granite, cut out and stuck on with a dimensional. I also added a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin assortment.
