Colour Your World Blog Hop - Colourful Paisleys

Es ist wieder Blog Hop Zeit und farblich sind wir diesmal auf einer sonnigen Blumenwiese.

It’s Blog Hop time and this months pallet reminds me of a sunny flower meadow.

Das Stempelset Paisleys & Posies habe ich bisher nur für Herbstliche und Winterliche Projekte benutzt. Da wird es doch mal Zeit damit eine bunte sommerliche Karte zu gestalten.

My choice of stamp set for this months card fell on the Paisleys and Posies, which I’ve only used for autumn and winter projects till now. Time to make a colorful summer card with this lovely stamp set.

Für die beiden grünen Hintergrundelemente (Streifen und Bordüre) habe ich zuerst ein Stück Flüsterweißen Farbkarton mit einem Schwämmchen in Gartengrün eingefärbt und anschließend geschnitten bzw. gestanzt. Das Etikett hab ich nach dem stempeln und ausstanzen einmal wie ein Rad über das Stempelkissen „gefahren“. Das gibt dann einen ganz feinen Rand.

For the two green border pieces (strip and floral edging), I’ve first sponged a piece of Whisper White cardstock witch Garden Green and then cut the pieces out. The label had a roll in the stamp pad 🙂 Lightly roll it over the pad to get a fine, barely there border.

Dasselbe habe ich noch mit dem Fähnchen im Hintergrund gemacht. Einfach ganz leicht über das Kissen ziehen. Nicht zu tief und fest, da man evtl. das Kissen aufschneiden könnte. Ist zwar nicht so schlimm aber das muss ja nicht sein, oder?

I did the same with the tag in the background. Just pull it very lightly through the stamping pad. Don’t put to much pressure on it or you risk cutting the pad. It’s not bad if it happens, but who wants that, right?
