Inspire.Create.Challenge #089 – Colourful Cocktails

Hallo und willkommen. Wie wäre es mit einer neuen Inspire Create Challenge? Diesmal ist es eine Farbchallenge und wir haben eine fröhlich, bunte Farbpalette für euch.

Hello and welcome. How about a new Inspire Create Challenge? This time it’s a color challenge and we have a cheerful and bright colour palette for you.

Die Idee für meine Karte kam mir beim durchblättern des aktuellen Minikatalogs. Auf Seite 6 hat eine Karte einen Aufleger mit einem Gittermuster. Ich habe stattdessen ein Stück Farbkarton in Seidenglanz mit den Wassertank Pinsel bunt bemalt und auseinander geschnitten. Anschließend werden die Teile auf ein Stück Metallic Folienkarton geklebt. Am besten fangt ihr mit dem mittleren Stück an. So ist es einfacher gleichbleibende Abstände zu erhalten.

I got the inspiration for my card while leafing through the current mini catalog. On page 6, one of the cards has an overlay with a grid pattern. I changed it up and painted a piece of shimmery white cardstock with a water painters brush and cut it into pieces. Then I glued the puzzle pieces to a piece of metallic foil cardstock. It’s best to start with the middle piece. This makes it easier to keep the lines in between more constant.

Für den Cocktails Schriftzug habe ich ein Stück Folienkarton auf ein Stück Doppelseitig klebenden Schaumstoffbogen geklebt und dann ausgestanzt. Dadurch habe ich den Abstand zur Karte und der doch recht feine Schriftzug ist stabil und klebt.
Die Cocktailgläser sind mit StazOn Tinte auf Seidenglanzpapier gestempelt und auch mit den Wassertankpinsel koloriert.

For the cocktails lettering, I glued a piece of cardstock to a piece of the double-sided adhesive foam sheet and then die cut it. This raises the piece up on the card and the rather fine lettering is more stable and sticks. No need for extra glue.
The cocktail glasses are stamped with StazOn ink on shimmer white paper and coloured with the water painters.
