InspireINK Blog Hop – April 2019 – Tic-Tac-Toe Colours

Hallo und Willkommen zum Monatlichen Blog Hop von Inspireink. Diesen Monat habe wir eine eine etwas andere Farbchallenge.

Hello and welcome to Inspireink’s Monthly Blog Hop. This month we have a slightly different colour challenge.

Tic Tac Toe heißt diese Challenge. Neuen Farbfelder und man kann sich aussuchen welche Kombi man umsetzt. Senkrecht, Waagrecht oder Diagonal. Ich habe mir die unterste Reihe ausgesucht. Also Mangogelb, Jade, und Moosgrün. Mal schauen ob wir alle Farbkombis zusammenbekommen.

It’s a Tic Tac Toe challenge. Nine colour fields and you choose which combination you like the most or which colour combination you want to try out. Vertical, horizontal or diagonal. Choose away or try them all ?. I chose the bottom row. So Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Mossy Meadow. Let’s see if we got all the colour combinations in this blog hop.

Zuerst hab ich mir ein Stück Aquarellpapier geschnappt und es grob zurechtgeschnitten. Anschließend großzügig mit Wasser angefeuchtet und dann mit Jade und dem Aquarellpinsel die Farbe von der Mitte her zum Rand hin auslaufen lassen. Der Himmel ist auch gaaaanz zart in Jade koloriert. Sieht man auf dem Bild nicht ist aber da. Wie gesagt nur ein Hauch Farbe. Danach habe ich das Papier erst einmal getrocknet und dann die Insel, Palmen und Sonne gestempelt. Die Palmblätter sind einmal abgestempel um sie etwas heller zu machen. .Das Ganze wurde dann noch einmal mit dem Pinsel leicht verwaschen. Erst zum Schluss habe ich das Papier am Rand ausgerißen.

First, I took a piece of watercolour paper and cut it roughly. Then sprayed it generously with water and then coloured it with an Aqua Painter brush, starting from the middle and fading to the edge. The sky is also coloured in Coastal Cabana. Just a hint of colour. You can’t see it in the pic but it’s definitely there. As I said just a touch of colour. Add lots of water to just give a hint of colour. Then I dried the paper and stamped the island, palms and sun. The palm leaves are once stamped off to make them a little lighter. After that I used the Aqua Painter again to just add a little water and make it more like a watercolour pic. After drying the paper again I tore off the edges of the paper.

Den Rahmen habe ich zuerst in Form geschnitten, den Rand eingerißen und anschließend mit den Stanzformen Bestickte Rechtecke ausgestanzt. Zum färben habe ich etwas Farbe vom Stempelkissen auf einen großen Block gegeben das Ganze ziemlich verwässert und dann den Rahmen einfach eingetunkt. Nach dem trocknen dann ein Stück Leinenfaden umwickeln und auf die Karte kleben. Die Blüten und Blätter habe ich genauso eingefärbt. Erst ausstanzen und anschließend in die Farbe legen. Den Blütenstempel kann man ganz simpel mit einem schwarzen Marker aufmalen.

To make the frame, I first cut a piece of Watercolor paper a bit bigger then the final size, tore the edges and then die cut the middle with the Rectangle Stitched dies. I coloured it with a dip in a puddle of Mossy Meadow ink and water. Just put a little ink either from the pad or a drop from the reinker on a block or in the lid of the pad and add enough water to dip in the frame. After drying, wrap a piece of linen thread and glue it to the card. I also coloured the flowers and leaves in the same way. First punch out and then dip in the ink. The pistils can be painted on quite easily with a black marker.

Die Grundkarte habe ich mit den Aquapinseln und den drei Farben besprenkelt. Einfach eine Pinsel gut mit Farbe und Wasser tränken und über dem Papier ausschütteln. Nicht zu dolle, da man sonst doch eine ziemliche Sauerei anrichten kann. ??

Before gluing on the pic and the frame, I used the Aqua Painters and sprinkled the card with all three colours. Simply soak a brush well with paint and water and flick it over the paper. Pay attention to your surroundings or you’ll end up with quite a mess. Ask me how I know. Yes, exactly. Good thing our inks are water based and easy to clean off. ??

Leider gibt es die kleinen Blütenstanzen nicht mehr. Ich habe diese Karte schon vor einigen Wochen gemacht und da war die Auslaufliste noch nicht draußen. Wie so oft gibt es immer wieder Artikel die sehr schnell Ausverkauft sind. Diesmal hat es unter anderem die kleinen Blütenstanzen erwischt. Aber ich bin mir sicher ihr habt die eine oder andere kleine Blüte die man stattdessen verwenden kann.

Unfortunately, the Bitty Blooms Punches are already sold out. I made this card a few weeks ago and the Retiring list wasn’t out yet. As so often there are always articles that sell out very quickly. This time it was, along with other articles, the Bitty Blooms Punch set. But I’m sure you either have these punches already or have an alternative or two to use instead.
