Inspire.Create.Challenge #040 – Blooms in Black and White

Hallo und willkommen zu einer neuen Inspire.Create.Challenges Runde. Diese Woche ist unser Thema Schwarz/Weiß.

Hello and welcome to a new challenge from Inspire.Create. This time we have a classy colour challenge.

Letzte Woche hatte ich euch eine Karte mit dem Stempelset Bloom by Bloom gezeigt und heute kommt diese Stempelset noch einmal zum Einsatz. Diesmal habe ich eine Kissenschachtel gemacht. Falls ihr nicht schon eine Vorlage/Schablone für solche Schachteln habt, könnt ihr euch weiter unten eine von mir herunterladen.

Last week I showed you a card made with the Bloom by Bloom stamp set and today I have another project featuring this stamp set. This time I made a pillow case. If you don’t already have a template for such boxes, you can download one from me below.

Die Blumen habe ich nach dem Ausschneiden noch einmal mit einem schwarzen Marker übermalt. Das schwarz vom Stempel war mir ein wenig zu matt. Oben = vorher, unten = nachher. Damit die Blüte nicht vom Stiel abfällt habe ich oben etwas Farbkarton drangelassen.

I recoloured the flowers with a black marker after cutting them out as I found the black from the stamp was a little too dull. You can see it in the pics: Up = before, down = after. I also had to leave a bit of cardstock on the stem. Otherwise the Bloom would have fallen off.
