Hello and welcome to new Inspire.Create challenge. This week we have a sketch.
Als ich den Sketch gesehen habe, habe ich gleich an ein irgendetwas mit einem Foto gedacht. Ich bin dann mal einige Fotos durchgegangen und hab diesen Leuchtturm gefunden. Ich will gar nicht dran denken wo wir da standen ?. Nur so viel, links von uns ging es ziemlich steil den Fels runter. Das ist übrigens Howth in Irland. Soooooo eine wunderschöne Insel.
When I first saw the sketch, I immediately thought of making something with a photo. I went through some of my photos and found this lighthouse. I don’t want to think about where we were standing there ?. Only so much, on the left side of us it was pretty steep. I’m not good with heights and standing on a Cliff… ?? By the way, that’s the lighthouse in Howth, Ireland. Such a beautiful island.
Also gleich mal das Foto ausgedruckt und mit einem hübschen Rahmen ausgestanzt. Der Leuchtturm ist perfekt um ihn mit der neuen Produktreihe Meer der Möglichkeiten richtig in Szene zu setzen.
Als Hintergrund habe ich eine Karte aus dem Karten-Sortiment Erinnerungen und Mehr – Meer der Möglichkeiten benutzt. Da die Karten etwas länger als eine normale Standardkarte ist, kann man entweder was abschneiden oder die Grundkarte etwas länger machen. Da diese Karte nicht verschickt wird ist die Grundkarte größer. Erinnerungen und Mehr Karten brauchen eigentlich nicht viel mehr Deko. Eigenen sich daher wunderbar für schnelle Karten mit WOW Effekt. Ich habe nur den Leuchtturm aus dem dazugehörigen Stempelset Setz die Segel, einen kleinen Anker and ein Stück Kordel befestigt und einen der Sticker aus dem Karten-Set hinzugefügt.
So I printed the picture and diecut it with a pretty frame. The new catalogue has the perfect Suite for this picture. The Come Sail Away Suite.
As a background, I have used one of the Come Sail Away – Memories and More Cards. Since the cards are slightly longer than a standard card, you can either cut a bit off or make the card itself a bit longer. Since this card is not going to be sent out, I made it a bit larger. Memories and more cards are perfect for quick, beautiful cards as the don’t really need much more decoration. I’ve just added the lighthouse from the coordinating Sailing Home stamp set, a small anchor attached to a piece of Baker’s Twine and one of the stickers from the card set.
Ach ja, die Karte war etwas kürzer als meine Grundkarte. Ich habe dann ein Streifen Abreiss-Klebeband auf die Karte geklebt und noch ein Stück gestreifte Kordel angebracht.
As the Memories and More card is a bit shorter than my base card, I used the uncovered bit at the bottom to attach a piece of Baker’s Twine with a strip of Tear and Tape adhesive.
